Artists
Generations of artists succeed and influence each other, each one leaving an original and memorable mark on their era. They reveal an accomplished art and the thought of a time.
Acquiring works made major by their quality, their inventiveness and the relevance of their subject, building and managing a collection and affirming a taste, so many rare privileges to which Magna Gallery Paris dedicates its passion for collecting. The gallery and its many international partners support an audience of amateurs and private collectors. It also works with museums, institutions and communities in the acquisition of ancient and modern works of art.
Under the direction of Rodrigue Naucelles, the secondary market department of Magna Gallery Paris is committed to promoting and selling 20th century works of art. The gallery offers a selection of important works, chosen as much for their particular beauty as for the emblematic character of their author. Paintings, drawings and works on paper, preparatory works and sculptures illustrating the great artistic movements of the twentieth century thus brought together will offer a privileged horizon to the amateur whose collections have taken on the force of heritage.
A simple and transparent objective: to add a fair financial value to works available for purchase.
A value must reflect the beauty, typicality and rarity of each work of art, as well as its state of conservation. Gather all accessible data, both specific and generic, taking into account the most recent commercial and artistic news of its author. The gallery offers global expertise, beyond the originality and beauty of a work: its meaning and the value that the market will retain for it concerns all the expertise and knowledge of our department.
In this spirit of passion, we are able to offer our clients a personalized service for any project of transfer or acquisition of modern or contemporary works of art. Systematically and free of charge, the gallery provides the traditional services associated with this type of transaction: condition reports, traceability, identification of provenances, certificates from committees or rights holders.
Our gallery is a place of open exchange, committing to the transparency of our work and encouraging the sharing of information for the benefit of all. The gallery regularly organizes conferences and presentations of artists aimed at revealing modern or contemporary figures in the making, the (re)discovery of the great movements of pictorial thought and, of course, the passion for collecting. If collecting is an art - that of choosing with taste and discernment - then it is to this spirit that the Magna Gallery dedicates its great work.
Three prestigious exhibitions are organized each year in Paris (25, rue de Beaune). Our operations entitled Magna Opera then bring together 30 works chosen around a particular movement or theme, most of them from private collections.
